FALSE IDOLS

You are a beloved musical idol owned employed by an oppressive megacorporation in a future techno-dystopic city. You are also a rebellious spy recruited by the secret society IDOL EYES, tasked with destroying the megacorporation from the inside. You will utilize your charm and hit songs to sway the people and your celebrity access to dance where you don’t belong.

FALSE IDOLS is an easy to learn 1 page game played with 3-5 people. One player takes the role of game master and narrates the world, creating opportunities and oppositions for the idols. The role of game master can be shared if everyone wishes to portray an idol. The Idols will take risks to undermine the megacorporation, resolving these risks by rolling dice pools.

Each character has two types of action, FALSE and IDOL. Roll FALSE to sneak, fight, hack, endure, deal with the underground, and do actions typical of a rebel. Roll IDOL to charm, perform, inspire, express, deal with corpos and fans, and do actions typical of an idol.  

Being an effective agent for IDOL EYES means balancing illicit operations with cultivating a respectable public image. Too much commitment in either direction and an agent will be lost to the cause.
